Our proud History

Western Ranch was started in 1976 by Phil Schober to provide post-frame buildings for agricultural and residential customers. In 1977, Western Ranch added all steel buildings for commercial, industrial and agricultural uses to the construction business.

In 1997, Tanya Davis, the daughter of Phil Schober, graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Construction Management. Tanya’s wide range of responsibilities and expertise include design, estimating, budgets, permitting and project scheduling.

Also in 1997, Corey Davis, Tanya’s husband, joined Western Ranch. Corey is the Construction Superintendent and supervises all on-site project management and building construction.

In the spring of 2002, Phil Schober retired, but remains a consultant for WRB. Brian Nelson, a local developer and property owner/manager teamed with Tanya and Corey Davis to form Western Ranch Buildings, LLC. Their exclusive effort remains steel and post-frame building. By exclusively contracting within this given field we can provide a better product that is cost effective and will stand the test of time and utility.
